Along with other bigger cities they have a wonderful farmers market and they even have their own potato drop for New Years.

According to the census in 2010, there were 205,671 people living in Boise. The median age in the city was 35. The gender makeup of the city was almost split half and half, with 49% men and 51% women. There were 85,704 households of which 29.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them. Boise is part of the Boise Independent School District. The schools to chose from are as follows: Highlands Elementary, Maple Grove Elementary, Shadow Hills Elementary, West Middle School, Les Bois Middle School, Fairmount Middle School, Boise High, Bora High School, and Capitol High School.
